What items do you accept as donations?
We accept a wide range of items including clothing and accessories, furniture (couches, beds, mattresses), appliances (fridges, washing machines), household goods, books, toys, and décor. Items should be clean and in usable condition.
Do you collect donated goods?
Yes! If you're moving house, spring-cleaning or decluttering, we'll gladly come to you. Just give us a call to arrange a free collection. We especially welcome larger items like furniture and appliances.
Where are your shops located?
We have two charity shop locations - one in George and one in Mossel Bay. Both shops are open during regular business hours. Contact us for exact addresses and trading hours.
How do proceeds help animals?
Every rand raised through our charity shops goes directly to funding the Garden Route SPCA's work: rescuing animals from cruelty, providing veterinary care, taking in stray animals, sterilising animals in communities, and adopting them out to loving families.
Can I volunteer at the charity shop?
Absolutely - we welcome volunteers! Whether you'd like to help sort donations, assist customers, or support collections, get in touch and we'll find the right fit for you.
Can I donate money directly to the GRSPCA?
Yes. While shopping at or donating goods to our charity shops is a wonderful way to help, you can also make a direct financial donation to the Garden Route SPCA. Visit the GRSPCA donation page
